This is a critical distinction for Mark See’s vision. You see, most collision centers (body shops) choose to align themselves with the insurance industry in what’s commonly called a DRP (Direct Repair Program) partnership. And we will cover why we believe that is ALWAYS bad for you, the consumer, in another article. The major way that Mark See’s vision is different is that he will NEVER have a partnership to any insurer. That’s how you can be assured that his loyalties are always aligned with your best interests… and NOT the insurance company’s profit margins.
Mark believes that there’s only one way to repair a vehicle properly. And that is to adhere to the Original Equipment Manufaturer’s (OEM’s) guidelines and parts. Believe it or not, Mark See’s vision is NOT shared by the overwhelming majority of body shop owners in Fort Collins. Most collision center owners have no problem putting third-party, aftermarket and/or salvaged parts on your vehicle. To Mark, that involves compromises to your safety that he’s just not willing to take.
“We will fight to do what’s right. No vehicle will leave our facility improperly repaired.”, says See. And he means what he says! Mark See’s vision includes the goal of making a change in today’s collision repair industry by starting in his own local market. “Our customers will come to know us for our high standards, determination and dedicated service.”
